There comes a time in our journey that you will look at the life of others and wonder, "Why isn't life easier for me?". Am I the only one that wonders that life would be like without cancer?
So, let me vulnerable for a second here. I have had my moments where I look through social media and I envy what I see others can do that I can't. It can make for some hard days if you're not careful. I am doing much better with that by understanding that we all have a journey to go on and it doesn't look like any others journey. Remember that everything is not as it seems, that's the highlight reel. We have to learn to grow where we are planted.
When are growing where you are planted you are so focused on your own roots that you have no time for what other flower may be blooming next to you. We all have a journey that plants us in different ways to thrive. Understanding that everything that I have been going through in my life is for me to grow where I am planted and THRIVE! How do we thrive when it doesn't look like the plan I laid out on my vision board? You take root!
Sis, GET ROOTED! When root yourself where you are you find your purpose and your people. I have accepted that I have been placed here to tell my story and help other women during their journey. God has given you everything that you need to grow strong roots and flourish with your purpose in this world. I am learning to look at the things that I lack but to embrace the things that I possess. There is something powerful when you accept yourself for who, where and what you are in it totality. Get rooted, prosper and bloom sis! we are going to grow where we are rooted.
